The 26th Youth Salon of China Electrotechnical Society and the 2nd Academic Conference on Wideband Impedance Measurement Technology & Its Applications Successfully Held

On November 15th, the 26th Youth Salon of the China Electrotechnical Society and the 2nd Academic Conference on Wideband Impedance Measurement Technology and Its Applications were successfully held in Chengdu. The event was organized by the Youth Working Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society, co-hosted by the School of Electrical Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, and the Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company, and co-sponsored by Sichuan Sunon Power Co., Ltd. High-Tech Branch and Nanjing Ritu Youtai Information Technology Co., Ltd. The conference, themed "Wideband Impedance Measurement Technology and Its Applications," was hosted by Professor Huhaitao from Southwest Jiaotong University, with over 100 experts and young scholars from universities, research institutes, and the industry across the country participating in the salon.

Prof. Pin-jia Zhang from Tsinghua University, Deputy Director of the Youth Work Committee of China Electrotechnical Society, Prof. Guang-tong Ma, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering at Southwest Jiaotong University, and Mr. He Hanfeng, deputy chief engineer of the State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Research Institute, respectively delivered welcome speeches.

Nine experts shared the latest research progress, technical applications, and current technical bottlenecks and challenges in impedance measurement technology from interdisciplinary perspectives such as new power systems, power electronics, energy storage batteries, and impedance measurement equipment development.
Prof. Yan-dong Chen from Hunan University delivered a report titled "Wideband Impedance Measurement and Full-Operation-Condition Identification Modeling of New Energy Stations and Their Oscillation Mode Analysis". Prof. Pin-jia Zhang from Tsinghua University presented "Online Insulation Perception Theory and Method for Electrical Equipment Based on Micro-Leakage Current". Prof. Heng Nian from Zhejiang University gave a report titled "Full-Operation-Condition Impedance Measurement Method for New Energy Power Generation Systems Considering Frequency Coupling Characteristics". Prof. Huan-hai Xin from Zhejiang University presented "Dynamic Strength Requirements of New Power Systems and Generalized Short-Circuit Ratio Constraints". Prof. Jin Yang from Zhengzhou University delivered a report titled "Multi-Parameter Intelligent Sensing and Detection for Energy Storage Systems". Prof. Liu Zeng from Xi'an Jiaotong University presented "Small-Signal Modeling and Oscillation Analysis of Grid-Forming Converter Parallel Systems Based on Port Frequency Characteristics". Senior Engineer Ma Xiu-da from Nanjing Nari Relay Electrical Co., Ltd. gave a report titled "Wideband Oscillation Analysis and Suppression in Flexible DC Transmission Projects". Senior Engineer Xiao-feng Jiang from the State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Research Institute presented "Stability Analysis and Enhancement Technology Research in Weak Grid Scenarios in Western Sichuan". Prof. Hu Haitao delivered a report titled "MW-level Controllable Wideband Impedance Measurement and Matching Analysis Instrument".
